Gust From Bessarabia or Poland

I have been research a while now but have come to a stand still.
Can anyone help with the surname GUST.
My family were deported from a village called Alexandrowka, ( near Katzbach ) in Bessarabia in 1940.
After a long journey they finished up in Lodz, Poland.
I have traced my G.G.G. Grandfather back to Poland in 1794, his name was Peter GUST and he was married to Elisabeth DALKE.
I have several lines, but can only find out basics, eg DOB/death.
How do I find out more?
How can I find out where my Grandfather is buried? (Poland Apr 1943)
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
