My husband's Great Grandparents were Michael Gust and Paulina Tonn. We don't know anything about Michael except that he was probably born in Dubno, Russia. Paulina was the daughter of Louis Tonn, birth date February 23, 1857, place unknown. They had 10 children. Michale, Rosalie, Samuel (my husband's grandfather) Leo (Gottlieb), Caroline, John, Louise, Millie, Molly and Pauline. Sam and Leo sent for their mother to come to Canada in 1926. She arrived December 22, 1926. Pauline passed away in Davidson, Saskatchewan, Canada, December 17, 1932. Her family were to have been wealthy and owned several mills in Holland. We know that John was in Canada around 1930 and then went to Brazil. He had a daughter Ida, who wrote to Samuel around Easter 1932. It was written in German. Does anyone recognize any of these names?
