Wesley Wright Guynn
In my hast to record the information I forgot to include the following information:
It can not be documented that the Wesley W. Guynn that married Catherine Taylor and Mrs. Salter, is in fact the same Wesley Wright Guynn who married Polly Ann Sawyer. There is some discrepancy in the birth dates on these two men.Birthdates vary greatly. In the 1850 census it shows him to be 18 (but also shows him to be married to Catherine Taylor and have Nancy and Quintilla) so this surely must be a mistake. The 1870 census shows him to be 40 and married to Polly Ann, it shows him to be 53 in the 1880 census and married to Polly Ann, so you can see that it is possible that the Wesley Wright Guynn who married Catherine and Mrs. Salters, could be different from the Wesley Wright Guynn who married Polly Ann Sawyer.References to Wesley W.'s birthdate range from 1820 to 1832.Do you have any thoughts on this or perhaps some information that might clear up the mystery?
