Mary "Molly" Ann FOWLER was born McKinny, Tx. 1855. She married 1. Robert MEEKS date and place unknown and had 1 child, Will MEEKS. Robert abandoned his wife and baby. In Jan. 1879 at Searcy Co., Ark. she m. James THOMAS, a widower with 6 children. She lost some babies but at least 2 survived, Clark THOMAS b. Dec. 1879 and Fannie Beatrice THOMAS b. Feb. 1882, both born in Marshall, Searcy Co. Ark.. In 1886 James Clark THOMAS died. Mary "Molly" then married a Henry BRITTEN, a widower with older children who did not like Molly. She had twins, I think one died and the other was called Levie or something simmilar. Mary and her step daughters did not get along and she divorced Mr. Britten. By 1910 Mary "Molly" FOWLER MEEKS THOMAS BRITTEN was in Maud, Okla (part in Pottawatomi Co. and part in Siminole Co. Okla) and had married a man with the last name TUCKER, first name, date and place unknown. Will MEEKS had married a lady in Searcy Co. Ark. and they had a daughter, Rose, and Will had abandoned that wife and baby. Marys daughter, Fannie Beatrice THOMAS had married a widower, Mrs. ARCHER who had 2 children and she had a son in 1904 named William Emory ARCHER. Mr. ARCHER died and Fannie joined her mother, Mary "Molly" TUCKER in Maud, Okla bringing her son, William Emory ARCHER and Mr. ARCHERS parents had taken her two step children. Mary Ann and her daughter Fannie were serving food in Maud when Fannie met and married William Russle TALLEY. Fannie had a baby, Fern, in 1911 but Fannie died in 1914. Mary "Molly" TUCKER took care of Fern TALLY and little Will ARCHER for awhile then William Russle TALLEY took Fern to raise and Mary "Mollie" TUCKER took little William ARCHER to raise. Mary A. TUCKER 64, is shown on the 1920 census with her grandson Wm. E. ARCHER, 15 Pottawattomie Co. Okla. Fern did not see her grandma for many years but went to see her about 1935 and at that time her last name was "HA" or "HAH" (It shows as HA on her death certificate) but no one recalls his first name. Mary "Molly" Ann HA died Mar. 29, 1938 in the hospital at Okla City, Okla. Any help on her descendents would be greatly appreciated. Her parents were either John C. amd Olivia HEATH FOWLER or John J. and Mary HEATH FOWLER Mary "Molly" Ann FOWLER had a sister named Olive or Olivia FOWLER who was younger and born in Tx. but married Francis M. MATCHETT Sep. 9, 1883. There were also some brothers, one possibly named D. Will FOWLER b. @1848 place unknown. Mary "Molly" Ann FOWLERs parents were said to be from Ky. but had moved to Mo. sometimes after the Civil War which the father and 1 or more brothers served in. Any help appreciated.
