Harte family in Germany

I am trying to find information on who I think is my great-great uncle, whose
name is Herman Harte. He was born in Germany in 1858. He came to America in
1885 and ended up in St. Louis, I know he was a tailor. He married a women in
St. Louis named Lisette Schaeper on February 25, 1988. Lisette was also born
in Germany. I know nothing about his route to America or anything about his or
her parents.

My gggrandfather is Henry Harte who was born in Germany in the November, 1868
in the town of Westfalia (we think). He came to America in 1889 and married
Elizabeth Schombill on November 11, 1889. Elizaberh was born in American,
but her parents were born in Germany. Again I have no information about how he
came to America or anything about his parents. He was also a tailor by trade,
my father remembers that part.

We have found in city directories that Henry and Herman Harte had a tailor
shop in 1892 and 1893 in St. Louis called the Harte Brothers Tailor shop.
Right after 1993 Henry moved out of St. Louis to a town 70 miles north of St.
Louis called Elsberry. That is where he had his two children, and my father
would have been Henry's grandson. Walter Harte was the second son of Henry. My
father knows nothing about any other relatives from Germany.

All this information has come from census reports , recorder of deads and city
directories.

Any help you can give me would be wonderful. Even Henry's dealth certificate
list parents name unknown. I am trying to trace Heny's trip to American and
to see if Henry and Herman are related.

Thank you.
