Deb,
I ran across a posting on a Haacke genealogy forum and noticed that you referenced an Adams. My Adams research has lead me to the Haacke surname. Some of the Haackes appear to have roots in Waterloo and Goderich Ontario where my Adamses are from. I have an old obituary that indicates that my Adamses were related to the Adamses of New England. Of course, all Adamses are "what to be's" if you know what I mean. To your posting. You mentioned an Abigail Adams which is a "new" Adams. I have previously been researching a Hannah Adams who married Johann Haacke. Can you point me in the right direction regarding your Abigail. I have two Adamses in this line. The other married a Fisher, I believe, further down the Haacke ancestry. (I don't have me materials with me at this time.) I'm trying to find a spouse for an Amos Adams who died in Waterloo around 1844-50 approximately. I have the ancestry down from there but this is my "wall". If you would get back with me, I'd appreciate it very much.
