I checked extensively in the many Adams' books. Didn't really find any strong evidence. Rumor has it that Hannah Adams was from NYC. I believe they married around 1775 maybe in Niagara on the Lake. There is a David and Elizabeth Adams I believe (purely from memory from one of the many Adams charts) from some County in New York. The time is right, but I have no evidence they are connected at all. Only looked for that because John and Hannah's eldest d was Elizabeth and eldest son was David.

Would be very very very excited to learn of Johann and Hannah's marriage place and possible parents.
