I am researching my ancestor, Hans Jacob Houk, born 1709 in Edigheim, Germany; came to Philadelphia, PA on the Mary of London 26 Sep 1732. His wife was Maria Dambach. They were living in Cordorus, York County, by 1746. Some sources in our family say his last name was originally HAAG or HAUGCH or a derivative thereof. Can anyone confirm? Rustyhouk@aol.com
