Haugh/Haag/ Hauk Where does the name originate? I thought it was a German Name, but many are Irish or English. Our Abraham Haugh married 1843 Sarah Driver who was a Mennonite or Dunkard Bretheren. They were from 1820's in Lancaster , York area of Pa, then by 1843 Va then 1853 moved to Allen and Hancock Co's of Ohio where Abraham died ca 1854 . He had Mary 1844, Christopher 1845,Malinda 1849, & Jacob 1851Haugh. Also spelled Hauk and Haag.
