I have over 6000 names in my database of Haag, Hawk, Haack, Hack, Haak, Hauck, Hauk. As far as I know they are all German names. Haugh or Haig are Scotch, Irish or English names. There are no Abraham's in my database so I cannot help you all out from my particular branch of the family, derived from Johan Georg Haak of Berks Co, Pa.
