Valentin Haag and Johannes Bruckhoffer left with their wives and children in a group of people from Gimbsheim, Germany, in 1749, destination of Lancaster Co. PA. They were brothers-in-law, having married Oswald sisters; Valentin to Anna Maria, Johannes to Anna Catharina. The Haag family arrived on the ship St. Andrew. The Bruckhoffer family is not listed. Two of the Bruckhoffer (Anglicized to Brookover, Brookhove) sons, Jacob and Conrad were appointed guardians in Orphan's Court. Could family have taken the younger sons John and Philipp?
