Hello Rebecca Haag,
This is the other Rebecca Haag. I live in Michigan and the Haags that I am related to originally came from Unterreichenbach, Bavaria, Germany. They immigrated on a boat that landed in New York in 1847, and from there they went to Parma, Ohio, and from there all of the family moved to other states. Such as, Michigan, Utah, Florida, California...etc. I do not have a William Matthew Haag in my tree. How far back can you go? I think I may have posted in earlier listings the whole lineage. Do you have other Haag names that I could try to match up to my tree?
