Your ancestor came from Norrköping which is in Ostergötland province.
Try the web site
Rötter most of it is in Swedish, but there is an English section

Then go to Anbytarforum on the left side
Then to Landskap(province)
Then to Ostergötland and try posting a query.
I was able to get info about another Swedish branch this way.
