We probably are looking for the same family info, as my husband's family is from the same area. We just returned from a visit to the Haagenstad family farms in Roa, and met with 3 distant cousins. My husband's grandfather was Hans Bredeson Haagenstad, born in Jevnaker, Hadeland, Oct. 31 1849, immigrated about 1866 to 1865. At this time, the family in Norway goes by Haakenstad. Will be interested to compare info with you.
