I was born in Germany but now live in Australia. The surname Haak appears in my family tree on my mothers side. As far as I know my grandmother (Lotte Pfeifer, nee Haak) had 2 sisters (Betty and Frieda) and three brothers (Erich, Max ...and unknown). One of the brothers may very well have married someone with the name Marie. Either that, or their father (Christian) may have had a brother who married someone with the name Marie. I too am trying hard to find my anscestors. DO any of these names sound familiar?
