You did not mention William's year of birth. I have a William Haase born c. 1845 in Germany in my line. His family was on the Kane County, Illinois census in 1860. Father was Henry Haase 47, mother was Dainner? 39(very hard to read), siblings--Lovina 17, Henry 14, and Louis 10.

This is not my direct line. Henry had a brother--Louis Haase who was actually in Kane County several years earlier than Henry. Louis and his family eventually moved to Iowa.

If this sounds like the correct William let me know. My little brother is William Haase also.
