Hi, I am looking for Hasis and Haasis's from Germany. My great great grandmother was Anna Marie Haasis. She was born in Germany, not sure where exactly, around 1862.
There, she met and married John Bechtold(t) who was born 1854 in Switzerland, and the two of them and their daughter Marie Anna Bechtold who was born 11 Jan 1885 in Germany, moved to America.
They settled in Mt. Oliver, Allegheny Counyt, Pennsylvania.
They had two more children: Carl L. Bechtold in 1893 in Allegheny County and Adele Catharine Bechtold in 1900 in Johnstown, Cambria County, Pennsylvania.
They died in Johnstown.
Carl married a woman named Grenola and had at least one son, Carl Jr. Adele married a man named William Frederick Schoenberger.
