FYI P.51 of 1979 publication titled "The HABELS of Lake Linlithgow" researched by Dr. Norman C. Habel states, "Johann Carl August Habel apparently settled in Nuriootpa (S.A.) according to the Lyndoch Lutheran Church records, but no further information about his fate, activities or family has been found to date". Dr. Habel is listed in the white pages (08 8278 8811) for any follow-up.
