Hello....My name is Peter Habel. I am from Penna. Northeast Penna. My great grandmother was Rhuey Grover Rheymensnyder Habel (what a mouthful), grandmother was Mary Habel, my grandfather was Clarence Habel, my great uncle was Kermit Habel, they are all deceased. My father is Richard Habel, mother AnnaRose Habel. I have been researching my family's history and "dug up" quite a bit of interesting info. If any of these names ring a bell with you, feel free to email me and I'll fill you in. There is a close association with Berwick, Penna. Akron, Ohio and Chicago, Ill. I have been fortunate enough to find the manifests on the immigrant boats that brought our illustrious name to this country!
