Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
We have a Ralph Hebel - age 3 - who was enumerated with our family in the 1910 US Federal Census, Grand Rapids, MI - listed as a "boarder". We also have a professional photo of Ralph, taken with our grandmother and great-grandmother. We have no idea why he was with our family at that time, unless he was in what we NOW term as "foster care"? Don't believe that he was a blood relative. Would love to hear from any of Ralph's family with insight to his childhood; and will be glad to share a digital copy of the photo. I found a Ralph Hebel, b. 24 Nov 1906/1908 in Grand Rapids, MI; died 23 Sep 1967, in Rockford, Kent Co, MI. Would like an insight into WHY he was living with our family, and to share the picture with blood relatives. Eunice Bullis
