I have Johanna's birth place as Luenberg, Hanover, Germany. She is the only one of the children that I have a birthplace for. She is my gr-gr grandmother. It was in the Strieter family history. I have not taken the time to really research the fact or fiction of it. Where is Wendel from? My Carl Or Karl was born in 1837 in "Prussia" I believe that is what the census said, Dorothea born in 1840. The kids born 1863,1865, and 1871.
