Hello. I am researching this line also (for my half-brother and sister Biser):

Christopher's daughter, Bertha Howe Habenicht married Nevin McCauley Biser.

Christopher's son, Christopher Cord was on the 1921 Columbia City Directory and the Seegar Family owned an Ice Plant (c. 1900) where the Post Office is today on Assembly Street in downtown Columbia, SC. As a child, I visited the Biser's many times, but was too young to pick up on any family history. The Biser's are an old Maryland Family, but I really do not know much more about the Habenicht's and Seegar's. My mother said that they used to own most of Main Street, and the Biser's owned a big chunk of land down in Orangeburg Co., SC. We'll have to work on this to discover this line.
