Guy I am not sure, only became aware of the Haber connection this weekend, trying to learn what became of the three daughters, Marion/Miriam, Evelyn and Shirley. All I can say at this time is that Ann Schulman, when she came out to USA as Oszne Fischbuch, which was later known as Fishman, was said on manifest to have been born at Khotin, Russia. Wife of Pinkas, she died in 1956, am waiting on information to establish which state she died in, to be able to obtain death certificate in faint hope that her parents are named. Abie (aka Harry) Haber so far all i have is the two census references. The 1920 Cenus at East 172nd Street, has a Russian born Rose Haber aged 38 Wife of Abie Haber aged 32, a machine operator on his own account, they had arrived in 1907, and Abie was naturalized in 1914. There are three dughters all born in New York, Evelyn 6, Miriam 9, and Shirley 3. The 1930 census has the family as Harry Haber 42, Renting $80, he is a machine shop machinist, and this states he arrived in 1900 and is Naturalized married at age 18. Rose is 41, married at age 17, this also says arrived 1900? The three daughters are all at home as Marion 19, Evelyn 16, Shirley 13. Now this is a small world as they were renting from Isaac Scher at 1446 White Plains Road. Her brother Ben's father in law. Any of this ring any bells? Notify Administrator about this message?
