Pam,

I have no idea if Charles Frank Haberkern was related to John Haberkern, but considering the vast number of people with the last name Haberkern out there, I'd be surprised if they weren't related. The only thing is that John was born in NYC, married in NYC, and had his son in NYC -- I don't have information about his siblings, parents or cousins, though, so maybe Charles & John were cousins?

On a side note, I have had very little luck tracing my Haberkern line, do you have ideas?
