Mrs. Clara Haberkorn, relect of Adolph Haberkokrn, died at her home in the south part of town on Tuesday (Jan.10) evening at about 8:30 p.m.
Clara Schrick was born at Pelferingen, Bden, Germany, September 8, 1842. She came to the United States in 1867, having been married to Adolph a number of years previous, he having preceded her to this country in 1866. On arrivinging in America, she came directly to Chatsworth, and had always resided in Chatsworth or Charlotte townships. They resided in Charlotte township for five years immediately after coming to this locality, and for over twenty years they resided just south and east of town. Nine years ago Mr. and Mrs. Haberkorn and their only daughter moved into town where they had since resided. Mr. Haberkorn passed away, Feb. 3, 1904.
Mrs. Haberkkorn was the mother of four children, one son having died when a small boy. Those surviving are Henry, of Charlotte township, Louis, who resides south of town and Mary, who is unmarried and has always resided under the parental roof.
The funeral services were held at SS. Peter and Paul's church, this Friday morning, Rev. J.J. Quinn, officiating, and the interment was at St. Patrick's cemetery.
