Looking for information on Christian HABERMANN, born 1794 and his wife, Dorothea ZIMMERMANN, born Dec 1798.
They are buried "in a Posen cemetery" - He died 13 Nov 1857 and she died 29 Jul 1860.

They had 7 children:
Robert
Julius
Ulrike Florentine
Wilhelm
August
Ernestine
Clara

The first four children came to Texas.

Julius sailed for America aboard the ship Franklin which departed Hamburg 3 April 1853 and arrived at Galveston and Indianola, TX 31 May 1852. He was from Schlepuchowa, Saxony, bound for Comal County. He became a US citizen 1857 in Comal Co. TX.

Robert was born Prussia in 1825naturalized on 12 Nov 1860. He lived in Guadalupe Co., TX

Ulrike was born 26 Aug 1829. married Ferdinand HEILIG 13 Nov 1961 in Rostarzavo, Posen, GER

August was born 1837 in GER and he served as a private in Capt. Gustav Hoffman's Cavalry Comapany. He was killed in the battle of Glorieta Pass in New Mexico.

I am also interested in finding out about the children who stayed in Germany.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Pam
