Kentucky Hovermales, 1808 to 1860s

(Hivermill) (Hafermehl) (Havermill) (Hoovemill) (Hovermils) (Havernale) (Hovemil) (Hovermeal) (Hovenaill) (Hoppermail) (Hobermale) (Hobermill). John Habermehl was born about 1740 in Germany in the Crumstadt area, and immigrated with his wife Mary Magdalene and his children between 1781-1785.
       He had three sons and two daughters:

       John Ludwig       b1764       m Margaret Warbil       29 August 1791
       John Christian       b1778       m Elizabeth Miller       7 May 1801.
       Margaret       b1780       m John Files       13 May 1810.
       Frederick       b1781       m Frances Coons       3 October 1810, Fayette co, KY.
       Elizabeth Betsy              m Peter Zeilor       29 October 1799.
Frederick Hovermale first surfaces in the 1808 tax assessment of Fayette co. KY, north district on North Elkhorn Creek, at the age of 27. Frederick married Frances Coons, daughter of Frederick Coons and Mary Ann Matthews, 3 Oct 1810 in Fayette co.
According to research done by Mildred Wonn, of Owingsville, Kentucky, Frederick and Frances had 12 children:

8)       Peter                      m Nancy J. Dale
9)       Amanda        b9/26/1824       m William Leggett
10)       Nancy Ann        b1820       d>1895, IN?       m Woodford Roberts, late1840
11)       Joseph Henry        b1825       d>1880       m Mary Gilvin
12)       A son b. ca. 1825/30.

Mary Francis Elizabeth married Joseph Myers Oct 1844 in Bath county KY. They were my great, great grandparents.
