I don't know how far back you have gone with your Haddow family but we have an Agnes Cleland, daughter of Thomas Cleland in Auchnotroch married to Capt. John Haddow, chamberlain to Marquis of Douglas, in Douglas around 1667
(source: Record of Sasines RS42/4.286 (Pg. 194, 195, 214, 344) dates: 1667-71).
