Hi there,

I'm related to them as well. Thomas Haddow and Anne Parham's grandson (Thomas Haddow Mitchell) was my gran's great grandfather. She can remember him dying in 1952 at their house in Paisley.

The 1871 census shows that Anne was born in Surrey, England. She was a soldier's widow, but I don't know anything more about her husband, Thomas. Apparently Parm / Parum / Parham is an English name.

The Haddow family married into the Mitchell, Johnstone, Holmes and then Nugent family. The Nugents were originally from Ireland, via Greenock and still live in Paisley.

I'd be interested in any further information anyone has on any of these.

Feel free to get in touch. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,
Paul Ward
