Hi James,

Well, there is a possibility. I have a James Haddow christened in 1832 in Barony, Lanarkshire, and names generally run in the family in Scotland. I am a descendent of his sister Jane, who married a James Boyd, son of Mary HADDOW, a second line of Haddow, so you may even be on that line, but that may be harder to find out.
Where were your father and grandfather born and when? That may help you find out if you're related, fingers crossed.
You can reach me here or at my home e-mail of: scapolo.dean@xtra.co.nz
Thanks, hope to hear from you soon, Dean. GG Grandson of Jane Haddow.
