To which Hagerman family does Hiram Hagerman, b 1847 in OH, belong? He lived in Sullivan, Moultrie Co, IL, for at least 10 years before moving west to Harper County, Kansas (ca 1878).

Hiram Hagerman was born 30 Nov 1847 in Ohio (both parents born in OH). On 9 Dec 1868, Hiram "Hageman" [SIC] married Louisa "Miler" [SIC] at Moultrie Co, IL. [Illinois Marriage Index, Moultrie Co. Marr Book A, p 37]

Two known daughters, Mary A. Hagerman (b 24 Apr 1874 IL) and Rose Etta Hagerman (b 16 Aug 1875). According to Rose's son, Martin Hiram Fulton, his mother, "Rose", was born in Sullivan, IL. After the death of his first wife, Hiram Hagerman married his first wife's sister.

At time of 1880 Census, Hiram Hagerman and wife Louisa, and daughters, Mary A. and Rosa [SIC], lived in Harper Twp, Harper Co, KS, adjacent to Matthew Miller and wife Permillia (and children) and John Miller "brother" of Matthew.
