James Blair and his 2nd wife, Amelia (Brayfield) Hagerman, did NOT have a son named Christopher Columbus Blair. They did NOT live in SC. James married Amelia in Hagerstown MD in 1795, also the location of her first marriage. They are living in Ohio co VA/WV by the 1810 census. James' daughter, Caty, married Cornelius Vandeventer in Ohio co in 1803 so they were probably living there by then. James died in Ohio co VA/WV in 1824 and left a will, naming all of his children, by both wives. James and Amelia are my husband's 3rd greatgrandparents.
