I am just starting into researching this family for my husband. I am interested in finding out more about the family of James Harry (or Harry James, have seen it both ways) Hagerman b 9/17/1874 Upper Sandusky, OH d 7/8/1938 Will Co., IL. Found the following census but I am not sure this is the correct family. The age would be right for Harry:

1880 Crane Twsp, Wyandot Co., OH
J. R. Hagerman 48 yrs b. OH
Anna E. 39 yrs b. OH
Mary 20 yrs b. OH
William 19 yrs b. OH
George 12 yrs b. OH
Harry 5 yrs b. OH
W. J. Hall other 84 yrs

Another researcher had the following to say:

I can't prove for you that the 5 yr old Harry on the 1880 census is yours, but I do have information on this line.
The father, J. R. Hagerman, is James Riley Hagerman b 14 Dec 1833. The age and location fit. Unfortunately I do not have his issue documented. J.R. is the son of David Hagerman b 27 Jun 1805 and m Margaret Cole, 22 May 1823 Fairfield Co OH.
David Hagerman, son of Abraham b 1770, son of Abraham Hagaman b ca 1750 resided and buried in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey.

It is believed that William and Harry married sisters- Elise and Anna Vollmer(Follmer) from Momence, IL who were born in Germany.

Any thoughts ?
