SPRINGFIELD - Trudy (Gertrude E. Minor) Hagerman of Springfield died July 25th, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center surrounded by her family.
Trudy was born June 10th, 1928 in St. Petersburg, Florida, the daughter of William and Mary Coleman Minor. She married Thomas Hagerman in 1949 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Petersburg, Florida.
She attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. She owned and operated Trudy's Plaque Shop in Rochester and was a Secretary for Ritterbusch Insurance Agency until she retired. She was a member of Little Flower Parish in Springfield. Trudy was an avid Bingo player. She also spent many hours on the computer playing games and e-mailing friends and family.
Her parents, husband, a grandson, and a great granddaughter preceded her in death. She is survived by four daughters, Mary (Tim) Heckler of Eden, New York, Janet (Mark) Goodrich of Edinburg, Barbara (Gary) Lawler of Corinth, Texas, and Cindy (Jim) Carter of Athens; three sons, Charles (Donna) of Springfield, Robert (Charlotte) of Athens, and Jim (Nancy) of Rochester; 29 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
