UK Hagopians

I wonder if anyone out there can help!
My grandmother's maiden name was (Ruth) Hagopian (1915-1966), her father was Hofhanus and he married an Irish woman - Maggie (Margaret?) Booth(e). He had one other daughter (name unknown).

Ruth married Tom Ralph - his family tree is complete to 1813.

We have no information about Ruth's ancestry though - on UK genealogy searches I cannot find any information on Hagopian but there seem to be a lot of you in the states - please could you advise where might be a good place to start my search for the UK Hagopians?

Thanks so much
