Sometime in the past, some one told me that one of our great-grandfathers was a priest or bishop in the Armenian Church. I also have found that our grandparents came from Harput in what is now Turkey. It is a very ancient city but from what I have found it was almost abandon after the massacres. Haput was hit very hard during the massacres and almost everyone was killed or sent to work camps. It is unlikely that any of our kin that were living there at the time survived.
