I have only the one source for Melissia Fletcher, as I said, her daughter's death certificate in 1940. The information was from Melissia's grandson Walter Weeks. He said that Melissia was born in Bangor. Walter may have been exactly correct or he could have, in the midst of grief, given completely wrong info. Walter was born 1871, so he would never have known his grandmother.
