I have a Uriah T Haines 1804-1874 married to Hannah Britt 1816-1882, both from Hunter, Greene County NY.
Sarah Amelia Haines, b. 1846 was their 4th child of 10. That's about all I have. Hunter is about 30 miles or so from Sullivan County, NY. The Haines families lived in both counties, settling Haines Falls, NY. There were a lot of Oosterhouts and Osterhouts in the area at that time also.
