I have just started searching for info on this William Halbert, so upfront I am no expert. We all have to agree on one thing, Joel had a father said to be William(1). He was married to someone, said to be Mary Cook. Is this the accepted line of info? John does present some sources, are other sources out there? I think someone needs to show sources showing John is wrong.
I came down from John Hill Halbert. My family sources state his daughter, Clemetine married Cornelius L. Oliver. Can anyone offer me any paperwork on Clemetine? I cannot find her anywhere in the Mississippi records.
