I have some info, but poorly sourced. For what its worth:

1. Thomas Halbert, b. 1702 in Nothern Ireland, d. May 1778 Chesterfield, Hampshire, MA, Married Margaret Durum Oct 18, 1731 in Topsfield, Essex, MA. She was born Abt 1711 in Northern Ireland, died June 1780 in Chesterfield, Hampshire MA. Both are buried in Ireland Street Cemetery, Chesterfield MA.

--James Halbert, b. Mar 7, 1733/34, Salem, Essex, MA.;d. 11/16/1777, St Albans, VT; m. Jennett Hunter 11/23/1760 in Pelham, Hampshire, MA. Had 8 children.
--John Halbert, b. May 4, 1740, Salem, Essex, MA; d. May 1784, Chesterfield, MA; m. Elanor McCallister 12/27/1764 in Pelham, Hampshire, MA. Had 8 children. Both buried in Irish Street Cemetery, Chesterfield, MA.
--Mary Halbert, B.abt. 1743, Pelham, Hampshire, MA; d. bef 1776;m. Timothy Rice 7/25/1769 in Pelham, MA. Two children
--Thomas Halbert, b. June 1746, Pelham, Hampshire, MA; d. 5/26/1822, Westmoreland, Oneida, NY; m. Hannah Kennee 4/26/1770 in Chesterfield, MA. Had 7 children.
--Elizabeth Halbert, b. Abt 1750, Pelham, Hampshire, MA;d. September 1814 in Middlesex, Yates Co, NY.

My connection is through my great, great grandmother, Fanny Phoebe Halbert. (Thomas, John , John, Asel). I'm looking for more information on Fanny and her husband, Julius Peterson.
