I believe you have this Capt. Thomas Halbert mistaken for some other Thomas Halbert. He was b. in 1072, Ireland and
did not have a son named Robert that I know of. If you were a 4th generation descendant of his that you place you as having been born the 1800's. Also, as far as my records
show, all of his descendants are Americans.
Regarding the Bible, I sold it shortly after my posting to
a direct descendant.
