Seeking any information on the lineage of David C. Halbert, b. ca. 1823, Tn. or In. and wife Adaline Herrin, married Jul 26, 1846, Greene Co., Mo. First child James Monroe Halbert b. Dec 26, 1847, Greene Co., Mo. married Sarah J. Gallagher, Dec 23, 1869, Douglas Co., Ks. James had brothers William T. Halbert, b. ca. 1864, Mo. and Thomas F. Halbert, b. ca. 1860, Ks. On the 1880 Douglas Co., Ks. census David has two adopted children, Carl E. and Arminta (last name unreadable), but both were born in NY. Any information on these individuals would be appreciated.
