I am researching my family history and have connections to Gateshead, Newcastle upon Tyne and Durham. My oldest ancestors I have been able to get details on are John HALBERT & Barbara CHARLTON. Their son James Halbert (m) Isabella Miller and came to Australia in C. 1852. Do these names appear in your ancestory. Any response would be welcome.
