The Sorenson Molecular Genealogy Foundation is offering free mtDNA testing for people with well know pedegrees that go back at least four generations (all eight great grandparents, and below).

We would need at least two unbroken female lines to put this to rest. One well documented "Red" Bolling line decending through the daughters of Jane Bolling, and another well documented female line decending through the daughters of Joel Holbert/Halbert's wife, Frances.
