Hi, I am researching my family history and have connections to Gateshead, Newcastle upon Tyne and Durham. My oldest ancestors I have been able to get details on are John HALBERT & Barbara CHARLTON. One of their sons, James HALBERT (m) Isabella MILLER and came to Australia in c. 1852. How is your research going ? Do these names appear in your ancestory. Any response would be welcome.
