History of the Family in the Library in Franklin

I forgot to mention that there is an in depth history of Jacob Halfacre and his brother who were in VA and SC and then migrated to Williamson Co., TN. The history is in the Genealogical Library there in Franklin. There is also a wonderful book with plantation homes that used to be in the area, and one of them is a Halfacre home, which, unfortunately, no longer exists. There is a poignant story in the library about the Halfacre sisters who only had one brother that rushed off to the war and came home with his horse dragging his dead body (if my memory serves me correctly). Either way, the sisters lost their only brother whom they adored in the Civil War. The library in Franklin is very good.
