I have not hear of the name you mentioned, but I, too, live in Jackson Co. in Arkansas. My mother was Gloria Wanda Halfacre born 12/08/35. Her father was Luther Howard Halfacre who was killed by a drunk driver in when she was just a young girl. I have just started trying to research my family tree. The Halfacre relatives were never part of my life since her mother remarried. My mother has several brothers and one sister still living. Do you know if there is any connection?
