Thank you so much, it was very kind for you to take time and type of that news paper info. Did you know that there was a HalfAcre family living in Newberry SC in the late 1700s? Since my Valentine Braswell is first spotted in Newberry SC 1795, I'm wondering if that William B Brazzel is part of my Valentine Braswell line. No proof, but definitely curious.

Do you have any other Halfacre surname information, I've found some that I can pass along to you through email if you want them. I take photos of documents (originals and book abstracts) and I collected a rather large accumulation of information on several surnames.

Let me know if you'd like to exchange information,
Thanks again,
Kay Braswell Dawson
