My eldest brother Christopher traced our direct ancestry back to Matlock,Derbyshire.
One of our relatives,Emmanuel Halton was the Queen's astronomer many years ago, indeed, another was the Sherrif of London.Emmanuel Halton's grave can be located in the local churchyard at Matlock. My family moved to London in the 1800's.Wondering if I have any other relatives out there?
I live in Southend,Essex.
