Lee Haltom/Halton of TN & TX

Am searching for the parents of Lee Haltom/Halton b. ca. 1840, TN. Lee is probably his middle name. Too, he is not the same as the younger Charles Lee Haltom who was married to Josephine Herrod. Lee was 1st located in the 1870 census of Kaufman Co., TX in the household of Washington Wrenn who was also born in TN. It appears Washington Wrenn was 1st in Texas ca. 1863 and Lee may have arrived at the same time. The Kaufman County marriage records show that Lee was married Mar. 5, 1871 to Sarah Honeycutt (b. MS) who appears to have died prior the 1880 census of Henderson Co., TX which shows his name as “Lay” Halton and with a different wife whose name was recorded as “Virilla”, b. AL. It has been proved that she is not the same as Sarah. There were a number of Haltoms in Tennessee, the State where Lee was born, but none have been identified as Lee.
